Q: How did you emotionally prepare for the episode where Klaus had to kill his dad?
Joseph: “I broke up with my girlfriend a week before.”
He also talked about the speech Sebastian gave to him and mentioned that listening to the music helped as well.
Q: If you guys can play any other character who would you play?
Joseph, David and Lauren at once: Damon!
Joseph first said Damon but then said that Damon takes his shirt off every other episode, so maybe not.
Q: Will Klaroline happen?
Joseph: Its genuine not manipulating & he really wants a love interest, but I don’t write the show.
Joseph changes some of his dialogue to sound British because he’s British. The writers sometimes write in English dialogue.
Q: Who is your favorite person to do a scene with?
All immediately, in unison: “Ian”
Q: How do you feel about Twilight?
Joseph: So, when they go out in the sun, they sparkle, and when we go out, we burst into flames…
Q: What’s your favourite TV show?
Joseph: The Walking Dead.
